I want to put my Christmas tree up SO bad! I love Christmas time! I love how it feels like such a warm, giving time of year. But I also don't want to just skip over Thanksgiving either. I also love it just as well. I do have so much to be thankful for. The Lord has truly bless us! So I think I'll take it one holiday at a time! But I'm going to listen to my Christmas music!!

great background monique! I get the same mixed emotions about christmas prep.. because I love thanksiving and fall decor too!
I begged my hubby to put up our tree yesterday - he said "no way" and would not even budge on the issue!! We always put it up on Thanksgiving night - but this year I got a wild hair.
Ya, Mark lectures me every year that I dress up on Halloween as Christmas, because I put up the tree the day before Halloween and the Christmas music gets played for almost 3 months straight!!!
Once we move home for the first time I will have a mantel to decorate and my brain is going crazy with ideas for that!
Christmas is the best!! Since we're moving right in the middle of Dec I thought about decorating early too but it'll be more work than it's worth so I'll have to skip decorating this year. But I'm already listening to Christmas music too =) Dontcha just love it!!
I know! I am so excited for Christmas too!! There is just something about it that brightens everyone's spirit! Normally I put my tree up Thanksgiving Day after my nice nap but this year we will be out of town so I want to put it up before we leave . . . I will see what Dan thinks of that!! :)
I know what you mean! :) I'm not all Christmas all the time...yet, but I do listen to a few songs here and there just to smile.
I can't wait to decorate for Christmas this year. I have already started buying decorations and I would put up the tree tomorrow if I wasn't hosting Thanksgiving this year. Being in a new house makes decorating even more exciting. I plan to start as soon as everyone goes home on Thanksgiving Day.
I'm holding out on the decorations too but am listening to Christmas music in the car so that Troy won't comment. I don't need any "humbugging" to ruin the spirit of it all. He get's upset when Christmas appears before Thanksgiving has ended. I can't help myself, the season ends to quickly.
