On Friday night we went to the National Peanut Festival..we go every year and we usually go on Monday for family home evening but Brad and Erika were down so we went on opening night. Addy got to see the little animals in the petting zoo. They were so cute!
I think this was a baby bull or cow...something like that.
I thought this thing was going to spit on me!! He just thought I had food...which I didn't.
Addy wasn't paying that much attention to the baby goat!
And this is what the fair is all about....FOOD!! We got in line first thing to get a corn dog from The Corn dog Man!! They are so yummy!
Then on to the boiled peanuts. All the food is good at the fair!
Somebody wants a mule....Tim and Erika testing one out.
We stopped by to see some tigers and we saw a "liger" which we thought was a made up thing from Napoleon Dynamite...but it turns out that they are real.
Then off to get an elephant ear.
I chose to get a fried snickers....the picture looks gross, but this thing was very good. Glad the fair is only in town once a year!!

Chris was just yearning for one of those corn dogs the other day! I thought ligers were made up for the longest time too.
