{Beware~Something I Learned At Stake Conference}

We had an awesome Stake Conference this past weekend.  They are always good but this one was just great!  The speakers were so inspired to say the things the Lord would have them say.  Our Stake President spoke on the family and has ask us in the Stake to memorize The Family A Proclamation To The World.  This is such important and inspired doctrine for the church and the world.  I wish that everybody had a copy and would read and live by it's teachings.  He also read 2 Timothy 3: 1~5...

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

This hit me hard.  I have read it many times but at this point I thought I know there is a lot of good in the world and good people but I can see this going on in the world today more and more.  I do not ever want to fall into this trap and have these traits.  I marked this in my scriptures to help remind me of this.  I will read and learn the Proclamation.  I know when I do this the Lord will help me.  We were really spiritually fed and it was so nice!
