Going to Salt Lake!!!

In 15 days we are going to fly out with Eric and take him to the MTC. He has to be there on Wed. Oct. 1st. We are going to stay for General Conference, we have tickets for Saturday morning session. We will come home on Sunday. Leaving without Eric, I don't know what that is going to be like. Weird I bet. Our anniversary is on Oct. 5th so I think this will be a good trip. We have seen alot of things in Salt Lake and the area around, but I think that we might go to Bear Lake. We are trying to decide what else we want to do. If anyone has any ideas let me know.

Hi. Sis. Phipps! Thanks for the comment on our blog. Yes, Mason was almost 4 months old when we left Alabama, so he's grown up quite a bit! It's fun to see all the exciting things happening with your family! A wedding and a missionary! You will love Bear Lake if you go up there, and you get to drive through 2 of the most beautiful canyons in the fall to get there (Sardine Canyon and Logan Canyon). I highly recommend that drive! Have a fun trip!

Fall is my favorite time of the year in Utah! A drive through the cottonwood canyons, Snowbird ski resort lets you take the gondola up, so breath taking!...or hitting up Park City, shopping incredible everything!....Mark and I eat at "The Roof" in downtown Salt Lake City every anniversary, its kindof our tradition. If you call and make reservations, request the window closest to the temple :) the view is incredible!

Oh I am so jealous!, and homesick, and now more homesick.... You are going to have a great time, and Eric was a dream to have in sunday school last year...you have done a great job raising your kids!

If you do go to Bear Lake, make sure you buy raspberry shakes up there- nothing better!

I love Bear Lake. My sister lives up in that area. I say just drive around and enjoy the area and the time together. I worked at the Garden across from the Roof and they both have fabulous food. Enjoy your visit.
