I need some opinions, I want to paint the kitchen island black or dark brown what do you think?
I think that we might put a different top on it also. I want it to look like a piece of furniture.
Also, I have this table that I would love to give away. If anybody wants it I will bring it to church on Wednesday night. It's about waist height or so.

I say dark brown and distress it so some of the cream (or white, I can't really tell in the pics) comes through...I love your kitchen!
Seriously - Your kitchen is absolutely gorgeous. It looks like a picture straight out of a magazine - GOOD JOB! I say dark brown distressed would be really pretty.
Another thought, you could maybe do a distressed dark sage green or other color that might be in your curtains??? I like to add color whenever possible...just another thought...
hahaha i got on to say distress dark brown or the sage ...but mia has beat me to the punc hahahaha! I love differenet colors in kitchens!!
My sister in-law did an antiqued sage and it looked amazing in her kitchen, otherwise I'd do black...-cause I love black!
